The Maryland Geographic Alliance will be holding a world cultures workshop for middle school world cultures teachers Saturday, October 1st. The workshop will offer teachers alternative ways of viewing and teaching about transnational trade in the Indian Ocean Basin during the 5th-15th centuries.
