This hands-on workshop will provide participants with engaging strategy lessons that they can use in their classrooms right away! Facilitators Jennifer Klein and Elizabeth Stuart, authors of Using Art to Teach Reading Comprehension Strategies: Lesson Plans for Teachers, will demonstrate how art and/or classroom teachers can utilize reading comprehension strategies to reach children through the visual arts.
