Open House for Educators at CBMM in St. Michaels, MD

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md., is welcoming local educators to and open house on Wednesday, October 5. The event is free, with advanced registration needed.
The open house will share the many different resources and opportunities for K-12 students and teachers at CBMM. Educators can explore the campus along with the curricular connections—from STEM and science to social studies and financial literacy—in CBMM’s educational programming.
On Wednesday, October 5, participants will have the chance hear from CBMM educators about field trips and educational opportunities at CBMM. The program takes place in the Van Lennep Auditorium from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with time for educators to to grab a drink, connect with regional educators, and explore school program opportunities. Educators must register in advance and may bring one adult guest.

Donations to CBMM’s Annual Fund support the programs highlighted in the educator open houses, along with the museum’s other education, restoration, and exhibition programs.
